This is a well made unit.  It’s simple – really it’s just a case with stacked filters, but very well designed. The front of the case connects magnetically and forms a solid seal.  Each of the filters is sealed in its slot with rubber gaskets.

Practical Use of the AP2

We have our maker space set up in the basement. Venting to the outside would require a lot of duct work and extra fans to pull the air out (and just make the smoke and fumes our neighbors’ problem.) It’s not really a viable option for our space.
