How to Make a DIY 3D Printed Violin

Select your 3D model.

We found an electric violin on Thingiverse

Use a slicer program like Cura to prepare your files

Print your parts

Gather your parts & hardware

Insert the support rod & assemble the neck

Seat the pick & wire, then glue & screw together

Install the tuners

Attach the pickup wire to the preamp and screw the neck and body together

Attach the top body piece

Seat the bridge on top of the pickup, and string the violin

Scew in the chin rest

Tune up your violin and play!
